GasGas Goes Street-Legal – 700cc Enduro & Supermoto Models Coming to US in 2025

GasGas, a brand long known for its fire-breathing red off-road bikes, is officially hitting the streets in the USA. For 2025, GasGas is “going street-legal” by bringing two 700cc single-cylinder models stateside: the GasGas ES 700 (a street-legal enduro dual-sport) and the GasGas SM 700 (a factory supermoto). Adventure and supermoto fans have been eyeing these bikes since they debuted in Europe, and now American riders will get their turn to “Get On The Gas” with street plates attached. Essentially rebadged and restyled versions of KTM’s proven 690 Enduro R and SMC R (thanks to GasGas being in the KTM family), the ES 700 and SM 700 deliver big-bore thumper performance in distinctive GasGas style.

Riders now can start on a GasGas dirt bike, move up to a street-legal 700, and even consider the brand’s MotoGP-inspired sportbikes (developed under the KTM umbrella). For the American market, these 700s fill a niche: the ES 700 is one of the most off-road-capable dual-sports you can buy new (short of a competition enduro with blinkers), and the SM 700 is one of only a few factory supermotos available, period.
