About E-Racer
Country of Origin:
Italy
Founder:
Independent Italian design/engineering studio (core team of custom EV specialists)
Best Known For:
Design-forward electric motorcycle builds and body kits based on OEM EV platforms
Company History
E-Racer is an Italian atelier focused on bespoke and limited-series EV motorcycles, often starting with proven OEM platforms and reimagining them through materials and ergonomics. Carbon bodywork, provocative lighting, and purposeful contact points transform donor bikes into sculptural objects that remain daily-rideable. Rather than chase raw performance numbers, E-Racer’s builds interrogate how an electric motorcycle should feel: weight distribution around the battery mass, the sensory role of induction and gear noise (or its absence), and the ergonomics that make urban riding intuitive. Small-batch production allows obsessive detail—hand-finished composites, clever mounting solutions, and wiring that’s as artful as it is robust. The studio also experiments with sustainability in materials and repairability, acknowledging that EV desirability must coexist with longevity. Historically, E-Racer belongs to Italy’s tradition of coachbuilding—taking a solid mechanical base and elevating it into a crafted, emotionally resonant object. In doing so, it helps define the design language of electric motorcycles beyond the utilitarian. For riders, the appeal is equal parts form and function: a machine that turns heads at a cafe yet shrugs off rain, traffic, and daily charging with the calm of a well-resolved tool.
