Sarolea S6
Years: 1936 – 1936
Saroléa was among continental Europe’s earliest motorcycle makers, producing elegant singles that raced and toured before WWI and between the wars. Belgian craftsmanship—clean castings, dignified proportions—made the bikes prized across the region. After long dormancy, the name re-emerged with electric superbikes hand-built in limited numbers, focusing on carbon structures, premium components, and track-capable thermal management. While volumes are tiny, the revival connects two eras of Belgian engineering: artisanal attention to detail and a willingness to explore new propulsion. Historically, Saroléa’s story is one of longevity through reinvention: from belt-drive veterans to silent, sculptural EVs, always with a craftsman’s eye for finishes and fit that make a machine feel special before it even moves.
