| Comments | These bikes were made in the early 90´s and then Gilera went bust. Most of them sat in a warehouse in Italy until early this century when 85 were brought to the UK. Early ones were registered on an L plate but later bikes were registered on 51/52 plates. Its 30bhp 2 stroke with power valve. loads of fun and very quick but reliability not great and parts can be difficult to get. Mine was smashed up by the guy I sold it too. Still the favourite bike I ever owned. |

About Sinnis Apache 125 1993
Introducing the Sinnis Apache 125: A Nostalgic Off-Road Classic
Step back into the vibrant world of the early '90s with the Sinnis Apache 125, an enduro-offroad motorcycle that captured the imagination of riders seeking adventure and excitement. Released in 1993, the Apache 125 emerged at a time when the market was ripe for lightweight, nimble bikes that could tackle both urban streets and off-road trails with equal aplomb. Its unique lineage ties back to the famed Gilera brand, making it a rare gem that has since become a sought-after collectible among enthusiasts. With only a limited number of these bikes making their way to the UK after years of storage, the Apache 125 stands as a testament to an era of spirited riding and unbridled fun.
At the heart of the Sinnis Apache 125 lies an exhilarating single-cylinder, two-stroke engine that delivers a robust 30 horsepower at a thrilling 9,000 RPM. This powerful yet compact 125cc engine allows the bike to reach a top speed of 95 mph (152.9 km/h), making it a perfect companion for spirited rides. The Apache's 5-speed gearbox ensures a smooth transition through gears, allowing riders to enjoy a responsive and engaging experience whether navigating through city traffic or tearing up a dirt path. Coupled with liquid cooling, the engine remains efficient even during those hot, adrenaline-fueled escapades, making for a reliable ride that defies its age.
The Sinnis Apache 125 boasts several key features that appeal to both novice and seasoned riders alike. Equipped with both electric and kick-start options, this motorcycle offers convenience without sacrificing the thrill of traditional biking. The bike's robust braking system, featuring single disc brakes both front and rear, provides excellent stopping power, enhancing rider confidence on diverse terrains. Available in striking blue or red color options, the Apache is not only functional but also visually appealing, making it a head-turner wherever it goes. However, it’s worth noting that its reliability can be a concern, as parts may prove challenging to source due to the bike's limited production run.
Pros and Cons of the Sinnis Apache 125:
Pros:
- Powerful Performance: With 30 horsepower from its two-stroke engine, the Apache 125 offers an exhilarating ride that’s hard to match in its class.
- Agile Handling: The lightweight design and responsive suspension make it easy to maneuver in both urban settings and off-road conditions.
- Nostalgic Appeal: Its unique heritage and limited availability make it a sought-after model for collectors and enthusiasts.
Cons:
- Reliability Issues: While fun to ride, the Apache 125 can have reliability problems, with parts sometimes being difficult to procure.
- Age-Related Wear: Given that many models sat unused for years, potential buyers should be wary of the condition and maintenance history of these bikes.

In summary, the Sinnis Apache 125 is a delightful blend of nostalgia and performance, ideal for riders who appreciate the thrill of a classic two-stroke motorcycle. While it may come with some challenges, the joy of riding this spirited enduro bike is undeniable, making it a cherished addition to any motorcycle enthusiast's collection.
