Company History

PGO is a Taiwanese specialist whose scooters have earned cult status for cheerful styling and stout mechanics. In North America, many riders met PGO through Genuine Scooter Company’s Buddy line—easy-starting, quick off the line, and tolerant of daily abuse. PGO’s strengths are casting quality, thoughtful packaging, and honest documentation, which independent shops appreciate. As emissions and safety standards rose, PGO integrated fuel injection, combined braking/ABS, and better corrosion protection, preserving the nimble character that makes stop-and-go riding fun.
