The Iconic Laguna Seca: California’s Legendary Track

WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is more than just a circuit—it’s a pilgrimage site for motorcycle racing fans. Located in Monterey, CA, this 2.238-mile track with 11 turns is world-renowned for its infamous Corkscrew—Turns 8 and 8A—featuring a dizzying 59-foot drop over just 450 feet of track. It’s the kind of challenge that separates legends from the rest.

At BikenRider.com, we’ve ridden and written about some of the best tracks across the country—but few offer the scenic drama and racing history that Laguna Seca delivers. From the natural elevation changes to the roar of Superbikes ripping through the coastal hills, it’s motorsport bliss.
